TAC / WorkCover
Watch Maria Mercuri on Melbourne's Channel 31 speaking about workplace injuries. (March 2010)
The P.I. Show is a Melbourne-based program that aims to educate the community about their rights and responsibilities when it comes to personal injury law. The program highlights national cases of interest and victims of those who have suffered serious injuries are invited to speak about their experiences as guests. Our principal Psychologist, Maria Mercuri, has twice been a guest due to her expertise in counselling injured workers.

Mental Health & TAC/WorkSafe Claims
MARIA MERCURI, our principal Psychologist, is part of the Network of Psychologists commissioned by the Transport Accident Commission (TAC) and WorkSafe Victoria. A network Psychologist differs from a general Psychologist as they are recognised by the TAC and WorkSafe Victoria as having a minimum of three years experience in a nominated specialty area of psychology which include:
- mental health conditions associated with physical injury/pain
- mental health conditions associated with trauma
- mental health conditions arising out of workplace stress
Ms Mercuri has carefully selected a team of Psychologists who have extensive experience working with WorkCover and TAC clients. All our Psychologists are registered with the Psychologists Registration Board in Victoria. This means they must be competent and follow a strict code of conduct.
